I would have ranked this optic a 5 star optic, but there is a MAJOR design flaw in it. In order to save battery, Swampfox states "In very low light conditions Sentinel-A’s dot will become very difficult or impossible to see." I agree with their assessment, I cannot pickup the dot at all in low light settings.After about 4 minutes of inactivity, the illumination should turn off. It should then immediately turn back on when it senses movement. I got the always on version. The problem with the always on is it isnt really always on. In low light situations, the dot dims and then disappears.
