Dec 19, 2023 · I have been on countless phone calls, and in person at Verizon kiosk in Costco as well, since Black Friday. I purchased 5 lines at a promise that my phone bill will be less than $190.00 and all the iPhone 14 will be free. I was promised 5 Costco cards at $250.00 plus Verizon visa gift card @$200 each line for porting over 5 phone numbers.
Att is not strong here either. We went to Costco in the Woodlands, Texas and spoke with a rep at the kiosk. We were told we would receive 1000.00 worth of Costco. giftcards as a rebate. Those names have been retired and now it’s simply called “Device Connection Charge” or DCC. Also, it’s irrelevant if it’s a voice, tablet or watch line.
