I'm working on a 1989 LT-4WD for a buddy. He has had issues with this thing flooding. Went thru the carburetor, correctly set the float, rebuilt the carb with a full kit. Wife rides a Polaris sportsman 500, it's ok. Hi, We have a LT Z50 4-stroke with a tuning kit, including Dynatek CDI. It started to run a little weak so I checked the compression then I changed the piston. Now it idles but nothing more happens when I accelerate. Have cleaned the carburettor several times, nothing wrong with it, also adjusted valves, checked p-brake switch ok.After replacing it I hooked a test light to the ground and tested the hot wire (blue wire),which had a light which proved power was getting to it. Then when I hit the 4wd button the light went out which showed the hot wire was no longer getting power. Same as when sliding it into diff lock. Use impact wrench and remove the nut on front pully. remove the roller basket and hold it together so not to let the rollers fall to the ground. There is a sleeve and a washer/ring. OK so I have a 2002 Suzuki eiger 400 that clicks but won’t start. it has a new battery, new neutral switch relay, new starter solenoid, new starter motor, and all fuses are good. The arm or lever or whatever that these two cables connect to seems to be stuck in the forward position (thus locking the brakes). I soaked it in WD40. Went through 3 plows and 3 winches with my 05 and traded it in for my 2014 with power steering. All of the Acrtic Cat 650 and 700 V-Twin engines were Kawasaki motors. The 700 DOHC single is a Suzuki motor. All of the H1 and H2 SOHC engines are Arctic Cat's own (550, 650, 700, 951 V-Twin). Then when I hit the 4wd button the light went out which showed the hot wire was no longer getting power. Same as when sliding it into diff lock. Now looking at the rear diff from the right hand side. There should be 3 bolts holding a rear gear case cover on, remove those first to access the lower part of the diff.
